Our Soil Fund acquires degraded farmland and partners with farmers and entrepreneurs who are committed to regenerate it. Together, we bring land back to life through organic-regenerative agriculture and nature restoration.
We welcome new investors on an ongoing basis. Our investors include family offices and individual investors from Denmark and abroad.
The minimum investment is DKK 1,000,000 / EUR 133,000.
We also invite partnership proposals for land managers with progressive restoration projects, typically from 20 hectares and up.

The people with the vision to regenerate the land often lack the capital to acquire it. There is a need for a fund to buy degraded farmland in Denmark and partner up with local farmers and entrepreneurs to introduce organic- regenerative agriculture and rewilding of nature.
Organic-regenerative agriculture applies simple principles like minimal soil disturbance, no chemical input, and high diversity in crops. This approach heals the land: It revitalizes soils, fosters biodiversity and removes pollution and habitat destruction. This is what our food production can look like in the future.
Separating agriculture from nature and introducing natural processes like extensive year-round grazing, restoration of natural hydrology, and enabling natural forest succession are cornerstones in restoring nature. This approach will create spaces where humans, animals, fungi and plants thrive together and reinforce the living systems that sustain us.

Most of the challenges our planet is facing are generational tasks and will not be solved within a 5 -or 10-year period. Capital devoted to these challenges must be patient and aligned with the issues. Nonetheless, we enable individual investors to exit after 5 years, even though the fund continues.
We believe an evergreen structure provides increased transparency and comfort for new investors as part of the portfolio is already known at the time of investment.
Portfolio companies stay in the same portfolio for longer allowing better cross-pollination between different generations of startups.
We are for-profit. To have a positive impact our investments must be financially sound. Our primary motivation behind Planetary is to support businesses that fit within Planetary boundaries.
We believe a carry structure exacerbates the focus on financial return and volatile investments as this will increase the value of the carry. Such incentive is not congruent with regenerative principles.
